Do none of these uses distilled water?

THANK YOU SOOOO much!!!! My AirSense 10 "broke" 2 days ago and a friend gave me an identical machine that she has not used. I have made numerous calls to doctors' offices and DME providers to figure out how to1.fix mine or 2. new script or 3 new machine or 4fix needed part and struck out on all accounts. I am going out of town in less than a week. Have used cpap for sleep for well OVER 20+ years but have never needed to even know the pressure not to mention having to change it. You are an answer to my prayers! As a retired RN, I have never had a need for this information. But it has been so helpful, I've watched it 3 times. I did change the pressure to mine and cleared her settings. But it had an option to go back to factory settings. I didn't do that for fear of changing what i did alter. Should i change the factory default ?

Does this work well with high pressure? I have tried this style before (different brand) and it didnt seem to do well with my higher pressure.

What about the other hole? What happens if the seal on that goes bad?

Hello from Finland I am new to using Resmed 11 wit the F40 mask. On my 3. night. My mask setting says nostral, full face and nose. Wich one is the right setting. There is no pillow setting in Finnish so I was wondering that the pillow might be nostral or the nose settin but wich one? Thank you for this tip. I automaticly put it on full face option.

Will this cause any dryness in your nose and throat? Is there any downside of going waterless?

Filter installation. The two sides are different. Which side oit?

Ours was very frustrating. It kept saying to adjust the mask, and we followed all the steps, so I am not sure why it kept saying that. Additionally, my husband struggled with breathing while having it on. I hope we are doing something wrong; otherwise, this machine and mask aren’t helping my husband's problems!

is there a difference between the two ? I have both I notice the smaller I get way dryer then then I do with the bigger one ?

Hi Clay. thank you for this video. Is there a NON-disposable filter on the air sense 11? The back of my machine says to change the little disposable filter twice a month and the NON-disposable filter every 6 months. What do you know about that?

When you order one does the headgear have one sizing and the mask itself have another sizing? So my question would be how can you know what size to order if the sizing guide comes within the packaging?

Switching from a Devilbliss IntelliPap & I run it without the water reservoir because it just had too much rainout for me, can I run this one without the water in the reservoir or with the heating element off? Great videos & thanks for any answer you can provide.

Hi, for the water tank, do you have to dump it everyday after use? Can you leave the water in there a couple days at a time? Any cons with doing that?

I use both the F30 and the F40, but my primary mask is still an AirTouch F20 (temper foam). I use the F30 or the F40 to read before falling asleep, then switch over the F20 when I do go to sleep The F30 and the F40 allow me to wear my glasses while using the mask, but I need the full coverage of the F20 when I sleep (I find my sinuses get dried-out if I use the F30 or the F40 for too long -- note, I have had 13 sinus surgeries). It is easier to swap the F20 with the F30 as they use the same elbow to attach the hose -- simply unsnap the hose on the F30 and snap into the F20. The F40 has a new connection to the hose and you have to remove the hose. The soft rubber collar on the hose stretches every time you remove the mask. Sooner or later, it no longer holds on to the mask properly, and the mask falls off every time it gets bumped. I actually prefer the F40, but with one modification... I have a hanging septum, so the F40 teeter-totters on my nose, leaking on one side, then the other. I cut the center membrane in the nose, making one large hole, instead of two holes. The mask has held up for 3 months, so far. I use it for reading almost every night, and sleep with it maybe one night in three. I like the goofy hose thingy on the F40. It is very soft and flexible It allows me to lie closer to my pillow without upsetting the mask. I only wish the hose connection was compatible with the F20. (Don't get me started on the F30i. The air in the tubes on the sides of your face RINGS! My sister-in-law that loves the F30i with her CPAP, but I use a BiPAP. One constant noise you might learn to ignore, but one volume for inhale and then a different for exhale drove me insane.)

Will this mask work with ResMed heated tube? I've been wanting to get the Resmed F40 mask, but its not available here in Canada. And who knows when it will come here. My cpap supply store has no clue what I was talking about when I mentioned the Resmed F40, he looked at me like I had 2 heads.

I've been using my airsense 10, and now my airsense 11 for the past 3 or 4 years without water without any problems. The first 4 years I used water and I noticed that you had to clean it more often. I've noticed much less cleaning issues since I started to go without water. I've not had any issue with just beathing normal room air. I've always just left the tank empty but I think this bypass will be a nice change for traveling.

What About The Water Heater In Bottom Of Tank Hot Metal??

Can any of this can fit directly in the mouth of trach tube . My father is using no machines right now can it just tap in the mouth without anything and still humidify. And if yes please tell do wwe need to add anything in it.

I didn't know how to disconnect my full frame (I thought that it would break) so I washed the whole N30 every day! I also kinda want to try the other masks (and pillows) to see if I like one of them bett!

Contacted Resmed today for help. Myair app would only show my Airsense 10 model that I used for 5 years. I was told that I needed to set up a new email address, enter my newer model Airsense 11 info. I contacted my cpap supplier with my new email address....and MYAIR app works now! FINALLY AFTER 1.5 YEARS!

Great info- do you prefer a specific filter for it? Possible to use a disposable white filter plus the black foam? Thank you.
